Popular yoga guru Ramdev has accepted the Indian Medical Association's (IMA) challenge to cure cancer patients and allow clinical trials of his treatment within three years.'I have already cured hundreds of patients and presented the medical records of 35 of them to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS),' Ramdev told a panel of IMA members during an interaction organized by the Nagpur Union of Working Journalists here Sunday.The interaction was held after the yoga guru Saturday called for a face-to-face discussion with IMA president-elect Ashok Adhaoo in response to the latter's challenge to him a day earlier to cure a representative sample of cancer patients in Maharashtra's Nagpur town, about 850 km from state capital Mumbai.
He told reporters: 'I have treated cases from the graveyard - the ones the doctors have given up on and those in the rehabilitation and palliation stage.'Stating that yoga and pranayam can cure cancer of blood, throat, breast, pituitary glands and prostate glands, Ramdev said his work on stress hormones would be published in international medical journals within three years.
The yoga guru with a large global following told IMA panellists that he always recommends surgical operations in cases of large cancerous tumours and thick arterial blockages as well as allopathic treatment for diseases like malaria and tuberculosis.'I also agree that there is no alternative to modern medical science when it comes to management of acute situations and cases of accidents', Ramdev said.
On their part, IMA members reiterated their appreciation of the power of yoga in inducing a state of well-being and boosting a patient's immunity.The doctors said they strongly recommend yoga and pranayam to their patients and many of them practice it regularly.

Even a moon has spots but you dont stop appreciating it. Its better if inspite of pin pointing the fallacies we logically analyze the work and contribution. If we do pranayam , we can be healthy to a great extent tht u will also agree with.
We can see that he is spreading some thing useful. I would request you to please support him as a doctore and help him fulfilling the noble desire with your support. Whatever laxities are there u can personally suggest him and ask for proof. I know that you are right with your experience but because his motive is not selfish so we can afford to give him a space and can support him.

i just want you people to do me a favour, my brother is suffering from carcicroma of stomach , he has a tumor sticked with his large intestine all the doctors have given up .Afraid of going further with Chemotherepy sessions will affect his Kidney as the doctors said .
it is my humble request , to u all do u know any person or any other way out i can get my brother back to normal .Please let me know

He underwent Stenting in situ followed by
2 cycles of Neo Adjuvant Chemotherapy in month of late March 2010 and Start of April 2010- Medicine Used: Cisplatin, Palostar, Paclitax, 5 FU.
Radiation cycle started in Month of April 2010- 36 GY in 20 fractions followed by boost of 23.4 GY in 13 fractions. In total He received 59.4 GY in 33 fractions over 6 weeks (Linear Accelerator 6MV beam) along with 6 weekly chemotherapy of cisplatin.
He was diagnosed with Diabetes and Candiasis. He was prescribed for Vonaz and Syscan. But candiasis still persist and can be seen over midline of his tongue.
Present condition- He has a severe pain in his chest, thoracic part, stomach. He is on Duragesic patch and morpheine tablet still pain is not managed. He is on liquid diet as he was unable to eat semi liquid and swallow. He can drink thick liquids like shakes, custards, milk, yoghurt, lassi etc but feel pain in gulping water.
Doctor has done Barium swallow and found that there is another growth of mass in lower esophagus.
Please guide us and provide us aid and help so that we can get him cured or atleast increase his life expectancy and manage his pain.
stop dairy products .. meat diet. Only green leafy vegetables and lots of Vitamin C to build up immune system ...

2. The oxygen carried by the blood normally is in excess of the requirement and the entire oxygen is never extracted by tissues.
3. Breathing fast does not increase the oxygen in the blood, it only allows a faster turnover. However note 1 & 2 above.
4. It appears here, that on one hand breathing fast is bad, on the other hand pranayam raises oxygen by breathing slower. Where does the excess oxygen come from by breathing slow.
5. Exercise is good for the body. Great work in promoting yoga. I really appreciate.
6. But carrying it to treating cancer is a bit too far. Try to visit some cancer centres regularly, there are enough patients whose tumours worsen while on 'yoga therapy' and they return to regular conventional treatment.
7. Apply mind, not emotion.
8. Indian Medicine seems to be the last frontier where we seem to insist things were far better in good old days and are now worse! I suggest read some human physiology and then accept this impossible.
